Video to MP3 Converter

Extract an MP3 from video files you own, with no server uploads.

Local video-to-audio conversion โŒ Your file stays on your device
Important: YouTube URLs are not downloadable here.

Cloudflare Pages cannot directly extract YouTube audio from a link. For videos you uploaded yourself, download the original through YouTube Studio, then convert that file below. Only convert content you own or have permission to use.

Paste your own video link to see how to download the source file through YouTube Studio. No direct YouTube downloading.

MP4, MOV, WebM, M4A, WAV and some other formats. Recommended files under 100 MB. Browser memory and codec compatibility vary.

On first use, this tool downloads an FFmpeg WebAssembly engine (about 31 MB) from a third-party CDN. The video file is processed locally, not uploaded to ClipToolNest. Network access is required to load the converter engine.

Convert a video file to MP3 in your browser

This tool extracts audio from locally selected videos and audio files. It does not download videos from YouTube or bypass YouTube access controls. For videos you uploaded yourself, YouTube Studio offers a Download option on eligible uploads. After you have the original video file, use the file picker above to convert it to MP3.

MP3 quality explained

128 kbps produces smaller files, 192 kbps is a practical balance, and 320 kbps creates larger files. A higher bitrate cannot improve the quality of a low-quality source.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paste a YouTube link to download MP3?

No. A pasted link is only a reference. Direct YouTube downloads are not supported here. You can download your own eligible uploads in YouTube Studio, then convert your local file.

Is my video uploaded to this website?

No. Conversion takes place in the browser using the FFmpeg WebAssembly library. The first conversion requires an external library download; the file itself stays on your device.

Why is this slower than a desktop converter?

Running a full media encoder in a browser takes memory and processing power, and the engine must be downloaded before first use. Large files may fail on older phones.
